7. If possible try to stop yourself from sudden thrusts of speed. This consumes a lot of gas and you'd be surprised to know how much.

8. Try to use the roads only when there may be no or less traffic. This will help you go at a constant speed. Shifting gears always consumes a lot of fuel.

9. Try to drive through shortcuts.

10. Remove unnecessary weight from the vehicle. Keep it as light as possible.

11. Main the condition of the car. If you do so, it will give you the best possible mileage and comfort as well.

12. Try and buy only the gas that your vehicle dealer may prescribe.

13. Try buying mileage efficient vehicles if buying a new one. Size does not matter

14. Only get what you need and nothing more.
